Payment for Services

Payment is not required on the date of service. However, patients who wish to do so may pay at the Health Services Business Office at the time of their visit by cash, check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card or bank debit card. If payment in full is made on the date of service, no charges are placed on the patient's CMU account.

If the patient does not pay at the time of the visit, there are two options available:

1) The total charges for the visit can be placed on the patient's personal CMU account. The patient is responsible for payment of the total amount of charges by the posted due date on the monthly statement from the CMU Student Account Services and University Billing Office.  Health Services charges appear as a line item on the statement as a "UHS Foust Hall" charge and a total dollar amount. There is no information on the statement stating the diagnosis or the specific services provided.

2) The charges may be billed to the patient's primary health insurance. View Insurance Billing for further details.
