|To my fellow students,|
As students, we have the unique opportunity to shape the future of Central Michigan University. Our university is in the process of conducting the Academic Organizational Review, which is a three-pronged initiative charged with conducting thorough assessments of the working components of the institution. There are three committees which will examine each of the following:
Student success is the driving force behind this initiative, and student input is essential in the evaluation of the units that directly impact the student educational experience. We can provide valuable insights into the services that support our academic goals, such as advising. Our student experiences are crucial to the academic review process, and I encourage all of you to provide input on your unique journey through CMU.
- Committee I – Colleges and departments within the academic structure of CMU (department of political science, College of Business Administration, etc.)
- Committee II – Academic support systems outside the classroom that influence student success (academic advising, counseling centers, etc.)
- Committee III – The Responsibility Centered Management (RCM) budget model used in the colleges.
Please fill out the survey below to help make the student voice heard in this process. For any additional questions, please email one of the student representatives on the committees:
Together, we can put our stamp on this university and the world.
Forever Maroon and Gold,
Anna Louise Owens, Student Body President
