Counseling scholarships

Review the Counseling Program scholarship opportunities below to see if you qualify. Each scholarship listing has its own application. 

This award is to support a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Counseling program during their course of study.
Selection criteria:
1. Must be a graduate student admitted to the Counseling Program & registered for at least 6 credits Fall & Spring.
2. Preference will be given to a student with Michigan residency.
3. Candidates must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA to keep the award.

Doris Andersen Moore Endowed Scholarship Application

This award is for the full academic year. This award is to support a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Counseling program during their course of study. The scholarship recipient will be selected and announced during the Spring semester.
Selection criteria:
1. Must be a part-time or full-time student in the CMU Counseling Program.

2. Preference will be given to those pursuing an Addiction Concentration or students from historically underrepresented populations.

All Counseling Program students are encouraged to apply.
