Boxing

Boxing is a martial art and combat sport in which two people engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, endurance and will by throwing punches with gloved hands.

Boxing at CMU is in its infancy, but has already become one of the program's most popular classes and best kept secret. Student purchase a minimum amount of equipment and learn one of the worlds oldest competitions. There is no actual physical contact so its perfect for beginners, still, students learn all about the sport's technique and skills. It is a great cardiovascular workout and the instructor is a USA Boxing certified and insured boxing coach and instructor. This is one of our highest reviewed courses. You learn many skills that are applicable to other sports and life. Check course registration for availability because sections fill up quickly!
