Racquetball
Racquetball is a racquet sport played with a hollow rubber ball in an indoor or outdoor court. Joseph Sobek is credited with inventing the modern sport of racquetball in 1950 (the outdoor, one-wall game goes back to at least 1910 in N.Y.C.)
Racquetball at CMU:
Racquetball at CMU was extremely popular in the 70's and 80's and many students still want to learn the sport every semester. Many students of our class have played on their own at the Student Activity Center and always wanted to learn actual rules and skills of the sport. This is one sport where the slightest amount of instruction will greatly improve your success!
