Ski and Snowboard
Ski/Snowboard Classes:
Our ski and snowboard classes are one of our most popular classes in the program. Students arrange for travel to and from Caberfae Peak s in Cadillac, Michigan where they receive professional ski or snowboard instruction. Students choose a section based on their current ability level and receive small group instruction from the professionals at Caberfae on the Saturday and Sunday of the class. The class typically meets the last weekend in January when the conditions are perfect for learning how to ski or for 'shredding the pipe.' It is classes like these where it is hard to believe you can actually earn University Credit!

PED 161 Snowboarding, Beginning
Introduction and development of beginning snowboarding skills. Class meets at local ski/snowboarding facility. Students are responsible for travel and overnight accommodations. Course fee only covers lift tickets.

To further understand, appreciate and develop proficiency in the skills of advanced snowboarding. Course fee. Recommended: PED 261.

Development of intermediate downhill snow skiing skills. Class meets at local ski/snowboarding facility. Students are responsible for travel and overnight accommodations. Course fee only covers lift tickets. Recommended: PED 162, previous skiing experience.
