How to Apply as a CMU Online Student
You're about to do something big. And we're here to make it easy, so you can get started earning that CMU degree. If you have questions along the way, contact us.
Apply in four easy steps
Step 1: Submit your application
We review applications on a rolling basis.
Step 2: Pay your application fee
As part of the online application, you’ll need to pay an application fee ($40 for undergraduate programs, $50 for graduate programs).
Step 3: Send us your transcripts
Ask each of the institutions where you’ve done undergraduate or graduate coursework to send your official transcripts directly to CMU. Your schools may send your transcripts via email to: apply@cmich.edu or by mail to:

Step 4: Check your program’s requirements
Check your academic program page to see whether your program has additional admissions requirements.
