Get your hands dirty and see what it's like to study at CMU! Investigate the academic areas that interest you or discover a new passion!

Discover CMU gives high school students and their families an opportunity to explore Central Michigan University's hands-on learning. In the morning, guests will connect with academic departments and student support offices, and attend sessions that will provide information about becoming a CMU Chippewa. After lunch in a residential dining facility, guests will experience the hands-on learning environment in person. Academic departments will demonstrate learning techniques and provide in-depth tours of their active learning classrooms and labs. 

What to expect at Discover CMU

Morning – Attend information sessions and visit with professionals in admissions, financial aid, and student support.

Lunch – Eat like a student for a day! Enjoy a complimentary all-you-care-to-eat lunch in a residential dining facility.

Afternoon – Explore hands-on learning stations and facilities representing many of our 200+ academic programs.
