1. Is your application complete?
A completed application includes official transcripts, test scores, a submitted application, and the application feeLog-in to your application to submit materials or check the status of your application. Materials received by 5 p.m. on December 20 will be processed prior to the semester break, allowing you to complete steps 2 and 3 online. If submitting materials after December 20, please contact our office for assistance with the remaining steps. Reminder: Central Michigan University is closed for the semester break from December 22–January 1.

2. My application is complete. What's next? 
Set up your CMU account and submit the New Student Enrollment Reservation deposit.

3. Do I have to attend orientation? 
All new freshmen and transfer students are required to attend an academic orientation session. Once your deposit has been paid, make sure you register for the only remaining session, held January 4.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 21 and re-opens at 8 a.m. on January 2. If you miss the December 20 timeline, we will gladly assist you with steps 1-3 upon our return. We acknowledge this requires a quick turnaround and stand ready to assist you.
