If you have been admitted to Central Michigan University for an upcoming semester and are ready to officially make CMU your choice, you're in the right spot! Finalize your enrollment and become a CMU Chippewa with this step-by-step checklist.
Step 1 – Set up your new CMU account.
You'll need this account for almost everything, including:
- Submitting your enrollment reservation deposit
- Receiving your student ID number and Global ID
- Setting up an official CMU email account
- Applying for financial aid
- Accepting your scholarships
- Registering for classes and housing

Step 2 – Submit your deposit
Officially reserve your place in the upcoming class by paying the one-time enrollment reservation deposit. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your admission to CMU prior to May 1 (or December 1 if you are beginning classes in the spring semester). Log in using the Global ID and password you set up in step one.

Step 3 – Accept your scholarship (if starting classes in January)
If you are beginning classes in January 2020 and received a merit-based scholarship, log in to the "Accept my scholarship" site using the Global ID and password you set up in step one. This step does not apply to students who are beginning classes in Fall 2020.
