Favorite memory of CMU
A combination of all the festivities and events that take place during the beginning of the fall semester – especially football season and Homecoming. It is always a special time of year when you really get a sense of what it is like to be a Chippewa and can create so many memories for years to come!

Favorite place on campus
The Leadership Institute in Powers Hall

Best advice for incoming freshmen
Get involved! Even if you were not terribly involved in extracurricular activities in high school, it is extremely important to take advantage of the many opportunities on CMU's campus. You will learn not only in the classroom but outside of the classroom as well. Participating in Registered Student Organizations allows you to acquire leadership, time management, critical thinking and many more skills that future employers are looking for.
