Develop the critical thinking, research, analytical and communication skills that you’ll need to thrive in an ever-changing world in CMU’s College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS).

We offer internships, creative endeavors, applied research opportunities, and international and multicultural activities to enhance classroom experiences. We strive to help students better understand people and communities at regional, national and international levels and also believe that students need to understand the past to make a difference in the future.

Choose from virtual or in-person events. Both opportunities include:
  • Admissions and CLASS overview presentations
  • Panel of current students
  • Meetings with faculty
  • Campus tour featuring spaces used by students in the college

Note: All spring/summer events are complete. Please plan to join us in the fall.
