We are so excited to see you at this year's CMU & You Day! Below is some information regarding the event and what you can expect your day to look like. From exploring campus, interacting with faculty, staff and students to cheering on the Chippewas at a Saturday football game - get ready for the ultimate CMU experience! 

Reminder: This is an open house format event and check in runs from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. 
However, to get the most out of the day, we encourage an early arrival. 

For assistance when it comes to parking and activities please refer to our campus map. For more information regarding which academic college houses your program of interest please visit the Undergraduate programs chart. 

Check In: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. 

We encourage you to consider parking* near the academic college you are most interested in. This will help assist with social distancing when visiting campus. 

  • Anspach Hall/Lot 22 - College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Programs 
  • Education Building/Lot 56 - College of Education and Human Services 
  • Engineering and Technology Building/Lot 33S - College of Science and Engineering 
  • Grawn Hall/Lot 3 - College of Business Administration 
  • Health Professions Building/Lot 12 - Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions 
  • Music Building/Lot 33N - College of the Arts and Media

* Parking passes are not necessary

Student Service Fair: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. 

Location: Bovee University Center Rotunda

Browse displays and visit with representatives from a variety for student support areas and local businesses and services. 

Make sure to stop by the Admissions table and present your ticket for a special CMU gift.

Academic College Fairs: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. 

At CMU, we focus on real world results. We lift each other up and focus on building authentic relationships between faculty and students. At each Academic College you will have the opportunity to visit with faculty members and explore you options as a future CMU Chippewa.

  • Student Service Fair in the University Center Rotunda Room.
  • Snap a photo at the famous Seal located in Warriner Mall.
  • Visit the CMU Archway located on Broomfield Road.
  • Find the "C" seal on the sidewalk between the Bioscience and Education and Human Services Buildings.
  • Check out the back of the park Library between Brooks Hall and the Music building. 
  • Fabiano Gardens sidewalk between the gardens and the Park Library.

Admissions Presentation: Staples Auditorium, Music Building 
  • Join your CMU Admissions team for this 30-minute overview on the admissions process, scholarships and campus life. Did you miss the 10:30 a.m. presentation? Don't worry! Catch it again at 11:30 a.m.
How to Plan Your Transfer: Park Library Auditorium 
  • Review the tools and skills needed to plan a successful transfer to Central Michigan University. Our transfer team will review tools such as transfer equivalency, credit guides, and transfer simulator, which assists any transfer student in determining the next steps. 
Student Panel: French Auditorium, EHS Building 
  • Hear from current students as they share their experiences and get you fired up for your future! Did you miss the 10:30 a.m. panel? Don't worry! Catch it again at 11:30 a.m.

Lunch: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. 

Bring your appetite! Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include a hot dog or veggie burger, popcorn, candy and a bottle of water. Each registered student will receive up to three concessions vouchers to redeem at the football game. 

Central Michigan Football: 12 p.m.

Ready to fire up for some CMU football? Cheer on the Chippewa's as the take on FIU. 
Ticket pick up will take place at check in. Up to three tickets (in the form of wrist bands) are available per student. Students bringing additional guests will be asked to pay for additional tickets at the group rate of  ($10).

Those arriving after 1 p.m. will be required to purchase tickets at the football stadium.
