Students majoring in the humanities and social and behavioral sciences will develop the ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and solve complex problems, skills that are highly prized by employers. Our classrooms include research laboratories, libraries, historical sites, field assignments, internships, mentoring programs, service learning projects and study abroad opportunities. In addition to offering a 21st century liberal arts education and professional training opportunities, students in our programs learn to understand social structures and political environments and develop an understanding of and ability to engage with other peoples and cultures.
