Board Application
The Alumni Association Board of Directors actively seeks alumni to join the board annually.  Applications are accepted until March 1 each year for a term to commence at the fall board meeting held on Homecoming weekend. Applications received after March 1 will be considered in the following year for membership. To be eligible for membership, alumni must have a degree from Central Michigan University and must also be or become a Gold Member of the Alumni Association. Members serve a three-year term and may be eligible to serve up to 3 additional, consecutive terms. The number of vacant seats each year varies based on returning board members and expiring terms.

We are committed to recruiting members who will bring diverse ideas and perspectives to the Alumni Association Board of Directors in order to best serve the broad and the ever-changing needs of the CMU alumni community. Your application is an integral part of the selection process. It is designed to allow you to demonstrate your desire to be involved with the board, to highlight your University and non-collegiate experiences, and to outline your ideas for how the University can best serve and engage our alumni.
