Weideman is retired Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Dow Chemical Company, a $60 billion global specialty chemical, advanced materials, agrosciences and plastics company based in Midland, Michigan, and was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Rick Snyder for an eight-year term ending December 31, 2020. Weideman joined Dow in 1976 and had numerous controller and finance leadership assignments in his 38-year career at Dow. He was named to the Executive Vice President/CFO position in 2010 and assumed responsibility for Corporate Strategic Development and executive oversight for Dow AgroSciences in August 2012. Weideman
also serves on the Boards of Olin Corporation, Mid-Michigan Medical Health
Systems and the Midland Baseball Foundation. Weideman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from Central Michigan University. He and his wife are residents of Midland.
