Weideman is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Dow Chemical Company, a $60 billion global specialty chemical, advanced materials, agrosciences and plastics company based in Midland, Michigan, and was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Rick Snyder for an eight-year term ending December 31, 2020. Weideman joined Dow in 1976 and has had numerous controller and finance leadership assignments in his 36-year career at Dow. He was named to his current position in 2010 and assumed responsibility for Corporate Strategic Development and executive oversight for Dow AgroSciences in August 2012. Weideman also serves on the Board of Dow Corning Corporation, the Dow Chemical Employees’ Credit Union, and Mid Michigan Medical Health. Weideman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from Central Michigan University. He and his wife are residents of Midland.
