Executive Editor of Trusted Media Brands, Inc.


Jeanne Ambrose, '76 Department of Journalism graduate, is currently executive editor of Trusted Media Brands, Inc. enthusiast titles which include Country, Birds & Blooms, Country Woman, Farm & RanchLiving and Reminisce magazines. These publications have a combined circulation of 4 million.  She is responsible for editorial leadership as well as creating new business opportunities and exploring new markets.  Previous positions include service as editor for Taste of Home and Simple and Delicious magazines as well as Better Home and Gardens.  Jeanne has extensive experience working the medical/health and food beats. She landed her first newspaper job at the Pacific Daily News in Guam and later the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.

Freelancing enabled Jeanne to serve as a writer, editor and project manager on several other publications as well as cookbooks.  She, and her daughter, co-authored and developed the recipes for cookbook "Heartbreak Recovery Kitchen." 

While at CMU Jeanne was involved in CM Life and also interned at The Clare Sentinel.   She recently hosted a group of CMU students to dinner while they were in Milwaukee for an Alternative Spring Break.  Jeanne hopes to recruit students for future internships within her organization.
