Duties include the conception and production of station on-air promotion, advertiser commercial production along with digital and print ads.

 

Candidate must have a solid working knowledge of camera operation, lighting, editing and design with an emphasis on original thought and creativity. Also must be able to write, produce, and manage multiple projects. AVID Media Composer experience preferred. Knowledge of Illustrator is a must. At least two years promotion experience and proficiency with Adobe Premiere and Photshop is necessary as well as excellent verbal, written and organizational skills. Our team is growing and we're looking for a new team member who brings a passion for digital content and platforms.  This important role will work with all our radio stations to help our broadcast teams keep their digital properties updated, including the websites, mobile apps, live streams and social media.  Training and supporting our broadcast team is a critical role in this position, and the best candidates will have a positive attitude and a passion for helping turn ideas into results.  Our ideal digital producer will take pride in knowing our listeners are using digital products to enjoy our radio stations and engage with their favorite on-air brands.  Review real-time metrics and trending services to evaluate content production and effectiveness.  Verify content publication and consumption across web, mobile web, mobile apps and social media.  Drive audience with email newsletters and social networks.  Provide support for sales efforts related to this syndicated content.  Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree or post-high school education preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Proven experience producing digital content highly preferred.

Must be able to work under the pressure of deadlines and have the ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously with strong attention to detail.  Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.  Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work are critical.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively on complex marketing, special events, promotions, sales and product development efforts.

Education:

College degree in related field preferred; Journalism background preferred.

 

Skills:

Ability to operate electronic news gathering equipment for the shooting and editing of television news videotape; must have strong journalistic judgment to support role as a photojournalist and field producer.

Experience:

Minimum 2–4 years of photojournalist experience preferred; knowledge of non-linear editing; Bit Central/Edius experience a plus; P2 camera experience a plus; prior experience running live microwave truck a plus.

 

Duties:

Will operate electronic news gathering equipment in the coverage of a wide variety of news stories for use in television newscasts; run live microwave truck; screen and log news and sports videotape; must be able to work well with reporters and independently in the news gathering process; must be capable of field producing recorded live and taped news events; editing experience preferred; must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds; must be available to work weekends, nights and various shifts. Must be comfortable shooting video from news helicopter.
