Experience Required:
  • Responsibilities for Producer Director include producing and directing studio and remote productions, including newscasts, public affairs, public service, commercials, promos, and other special events.
  • May participate in pre-production planning through all stages to completion of projects utilizing a nonlinear editor or as a live broadcast. Supervise, train, and assist production crew.     
  • Responsibilities for Studio Crew include operation of studio cameras, VizRT character Generator, audio boards, studio lighting equipment, editors, and teleprompters.
  • Timing and cueing performers for live and recorded productions, operating cameras at remote locations. Involved with design, set-up, lighting, and set tear down for all productions in studio and remote.
  • Assist with timing live news and manage the studio floor. Working with Engineering in master control.     
  • Secondary duties may include assisting the News Department with shooting and editing video news stories.     
  • Must possess nonlinear editing , organizational, and time management skills.
  • Candidate should have 1-2 years producing and directing experience with familiarity with studio production.

  • Non-linear editing experience required. Final Cut Pro experience a plus.
