Alumni Updates​
  • Katy Travis​ was recently cast in a leading role in the National tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera.  Katie performed in all manner of productions during her time in the area, at Bay City Central High School, with the Bay City Players, and​ with CMU's University Theatre.  In recent years, she's been selected for enviable roles at The MUNY, Liederkranz Opera Theatre and the Fireside Theatre.
  • CMU alum, John Gray, is playing the role of Officer Krupke in the Drury Lane Theatre production of West Side Story in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.   Click here for an interesting story about John.  West Side Story opened on January 15th and will run through March 22nd.  Tickets and information are available at
  • CMU alum, Stef Din, will be serving as the Stage Management Mentor at Michigan State University and will be teaching their Stage Management class in the future.  Stef continues in the position of Resident Stage Manager at the Williamston Theatre and the Production Stage Manager for the Michigan Shakespeare Festival.
  • CMU alum, Ben Cole, is playing the role of Geoffrey in The Lion in Winter.  The Lion in Winter is produced by Moonlight Stage Productions at the AVO Playhouse in Vista, California.  The production opened January 15th and will run through February 1st.  Tickets and information are available at
