The 2014 Alumni Band Reunion and Concert, hosted by CMU's School of Music, is slated for Saturday and Sunday, June 7 & 8 at the School of Music Building.
A Coffee Hour and Check-in begins at 9:00 am on Saturday June 7th. Rehearsals begin at 10:00 a.m., and the reunion continues through the Alumni Band Concert at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 8th in the Staples Family Concert Hall. The two-day event features receptions and a catered lunch, giving participants and their families an opportunity to visit and reminisce about "the old days." Members of the Music Faculty and our fraternal organizations will also be on hand to greet alumni and share CMU memories and experiences. There is no cost to participate.
In response to the very positive response to last year's reunion and keeping in mind participants' observations and suggestions, this year's program will once again include works of great artistry and of sentimental value to alumni. We will also take an opportunity to work with Prof. Jack Williamson and to congratulate him upon the completion of his 35th year at CMU, the longest-serving Director of Bands in our history!

On campus guest rooms for Summer 2014 will be hosted in Kulhavi Hall. The rate is $35.00/night/suite.
Each air-conditioned suite includes 4 individual bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedrooms include extended twin size bed, wardrobe, dresser, desk and desk chair. Each suite has a phone, Ethernet ports, and wireless internet access as well as cable television hook ups. Although each room does not have a television, they are located in the public lounge areas. CMU Camps & Conferences will provide all linens (sheets, blankets, pillows, towels) for your stay.
Kulhavi Hall has vending machines available, is located next to a 7-11 Convenience Store, and is within walking distance to local restaurants. A 24 hour desk operation provides information regarding local restaurants and events, change for vending, linen exchange, and wake up calls.
