This is the main performance venue of the School of Music and seats 500.
Seating about 100, Chamichian Hall provides a more intimate performance venue for student recitals, masterclasses, and studio recitals.
Offices are acoustically designed for private lesson instruction.
Class sizes are kept small for individualized instruction.
Rooms are available on both the first and second floor for individual and small chamber rehearsals and are acoustically treated.
Select rooms contain small grand pianos for keyboard students.
The largest rehearsal space in the music building, Dietz Rehearsal Hall is named for Norman Dietz, former director of the CMU Marching Band.
The Music Resource Center is the School of Music's listening/study library, and contains a computer lab for student use.
Two student lounges house lockers for instruments.
