Attention Carls Center Patients
Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive order on Friday, March 20 that puts temporary restrictions on non-essential medical and dental procedures. The order took effect at 5 p.m. on March 21. The order states hospitals, freestanding surgical outpatient facilities, dental facilities, and all state-operated outpatient facilities must implement a plan to temporarily postpone all non-essential procedures. The order is in effect until the end of the COVID-19 state of emergency.
In accordance with this declaration and out of an abundance of caution to protect the health/safety of our patients and CMU Carls Center Clinic staff, we have suspended face-to-face in-person appointments until further notice. Appointments can be rescheduled at 989-774-3904 when staff return to the Carls Center on April 13.
