Amy Malheim is the Director of Interprofessional Education and Practice (IPEP) Center of The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions. Amy received her B.S. in Psychology from North Dakota State University and her M.S. in Accounting from Ball State University.

Prior to joining CMU, Amy was the program director for a statewide mobile simulation program in North Dakota (SIM-ND) as well as the Program Administrator for the University of North Dakota’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences’ Simulation Center. She brings her program development and knowledge of simulation and interprofessional education to this position. Amy coordinated with various local, regional, and state entities to ensure all areas of North Dakota were being reached through the mobile simulation program. Within the Simulation Center, she managed the personnel, both program budgets, and overall collaborations between health professions to integrate simulation education into the university curriculum.

Amy and her husband Jeremy have two children and live in Midland. When not driving around to their children’s dance and soccer activities, they enjoy watching movies and Pittsburgh Penguins games as a family.
