Jodi enjoys her job at
the Director of Development at The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of
Health Professions. She loves interacting with students, faculty, friends, and
alumni of CMU. Development for the college and in the focus of health
professions is something Jodi cares greatly about.
After graduating from
CMU with a degree in Integrative Public Relations and Communications, Jodi got
her professional start at the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce. There she
planned programs, events, and assisted with membership recruitment. From there
she went on to Central Michigan Community Hospital where she had to role of
Foundation Coordinator. She was in charge of annual giving, employee giving,
special events, and took part in the New Life ~ New Hope Capital Campaign,
which exceeded its goal and raised 7.4 million dollars. When she had the
opportunity to come back to CMU as a Director of Development she was excited to
return to campus. She recently completed her Masters of Science in
Administration, also from CMU.
Jodi's volunteer work
is also important to her. She is an active volunteer for the Mt. Pleasant Area
Chamber of Commerce, where she was awarded Ambassador of the Year for 2009. She
also serves on the board and Executive Board for Mid-Michigan Industries (MMI)
and the Mt. Pleasant Area Discovery Museum.
Jodi resides in Mt.
Pleasant with her husband Erik and their two children, Jenna and Grant.
