EH&S curriculum was developed to conform to the requirements outlined by the accrediting body for this field, the National Environmental Health Science & Protection Accreditation Council, Portland, OR. Accreditation requires broad training in 23 programmatic areas of Environmental Health & Safety (examples include: air quality control, food protection, hazardous materials, and water quality) with in-depth training in four of these technical areas.
