Substance Abuse Education: Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment Minor

Through this interdepartmental minor in substance abuse education, students will receive a broad education about drugs and drug policies in the United States.  Most students who select this minor are interested in a career in substance abuse prevention, treatment, or rehabilitation.  Many students studying this minor go on to take State of Michigan credentialing examinations and begin careers in counseling agencies, court programs, or treatment centers.
