Through this interdepartmental minor in substance abuse education, students will receive a broad education about
drugs and drug policies in the United States. Most students who select
this minor are interested in a career in substance abuse prevention,
or rehabilitation. Many students studying this minor go on to take
State of Michigan credentialing examinations and begin careers in
counseling agencies, court programs, or treatment centers.
