President and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Reese joined Saint Francis Healthcare System August 2015, with over 25 years of healthcare experience. Before joining Saint Francis Reese served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Illinois. St. Elizabeth's is part of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), which includes 13 hospitals in 2 states. It includes a physician medical group that employs over 620 providers including the cardiologists from Prairie Cardiovascular. Before joining HSHS Reese was the Chief Operating Officer at St. Vincent's Regional Medical Center in Billings, Montana, and Chief Clinical Officer at CHI Mercy Medical Center in Nampa, Idaho. She was the Chief Nursing Officer of HCA Brigham City Community Hospital in Utah. Prior to her senior roles in management, Reese worked as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units of St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, Boise, Idaho, and HCA Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Reese has a history of leading organizations to achieve national top quality awards, including the prestigious "Top-100 Hospital Award", the "Blue Cross/Blue Shield Top Hospital Award", the "Truven Top-50 Cardiovascular Hospital Award", Leapfrog "A" designations, and numerous 5-STAR Best Healthcare Awards. She has a nursing degree from Boise State University, a Masters in Healthcare Administration from University of Minnesota and a doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. And in 2014 was named alumni of the year for Boise State University.
