Aerobic Fitness or Aerobic Exercise (also known as cardio) is physical exercise of relatively low intensity that depends primarily on the aerobic energy-generating process.

Aerobic Fitness at CMU:  The CMU PED program has many of the most popular and exciting classes around. And they are taught by the best instructors the area has to offer. Our instructors hold national certifications and undergo a rigorous selection process. They teach the class in a way that you learn the activity so you can perform it outside of the classroom for the rest of your life. Many of them have 10+ years of experience! Committing to an 8 week or 16 week class means you get real instruction, real dedication, and real results. As with all PED classes, you receive credit towards graduation so you can be sure the instruction is top notch. Check class registration for the most current list of classes and times.
