Rochelle Bourassa is the new Assistant Professor and Regional Clinical Coordinator for the Central/Northern Michigan Region!

Rochelle graduated from Central Michigan University in 2007 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is a Certified Lymphendema Therapist (CLT) through the Lymphedema Association Network of American (LANA) and a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) through the American Board of Wound Management.

Rochelle is active in many professional organizations and is a member of the APTA and APTA-MI chapter sections for both Education and Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management. She is also a liaison between the APTA and APTA-MI chapter for the Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management section.

Rochelle is currently working on completing her Doctorate of Health Science degree from the University of Indianapolis and her research is on chronic wounds in the long-term care population. This past August (2020) Rochelle began her dual roles as an Assistant Professor and RCC at Central Michigan University. She is teaching in the neurological semester the Mock Clinic course, Exam and Diagnosis IV course, and a Seminar course.

Rochelle is the mom to five amazing kids who range in age from 11 years to 11 months old! Most of their free time is spent being involved in their children's sports activities but also enjoy family traveling and camping.
