Accreditation


The CMU Program in Physical Therapy has been reviewed and approved by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  The last review was held in the summer of 2012 and the program was reaccredited for another 10 years until 2022 by CAPTE.  The Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy at Central Michigan University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314; telephone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org; website: www: www.capteonline.org.


If any individual has a complaint concerning a possible violation of accreditation standards for the physical therapy program, they should submit a signed complaint in writing to the Director of Accreditation at the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 1111 North Fairfax Street, Arlington, Virginia 22314.  Instructions for filing a complaint on line can be found at the APTA Accreditation web site http://www.capteonline.org/Complaints/
