Specifically, students "may make suggestions to principal faculty for sites and preceptors" and any student-suggested clinical sites and preceptors entertained by the program are "reviewed, evaluated, and approved for educational suitability" before activation of clinical education assignments. (ARC-PA Standards, 2014, # A3.03, p. 11).
