Education

MD, Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine 

Dr. Robert Satonik joined Central Michigan University as Adjunct Faculty for the Physician Assistant Program in 2008. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed postgraduate training in emergency medicine at Richland Memorial Hospital in South Carolina and in internal medicine at Akron City Hospital in Ohio.

Dr. Satonik serves as Associate Residency Program Director for Synergy Medical Education Alliance, Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Michigan State University-College of Human Medicine. He previously held positions as a Staff Physician in Emergency Medicine at Naval Hospital MCAGCC in California, General Medical Officer for the United States Navy, and Core Faculty and Clinical Faculty of Emergency Medicine at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw.

Dr. Satonik is chair of the Undergraduate Education Committee, Program in Emergency Medicine at Michigan State University-College of Human Medicine. He participates on the MCEP Education Committee, Emergency Medicine Steering Committee, and CME Committee at Synergy Medical Education Alliance.
