Each February, students audition/interview for the privilege of participating in our annual summer theatre company. Ultimately, 10-13 students are selected and assigned to fulfill the many roles required for a touring production series, ranging from technical positions and promotions to acting roles and stage management. The performance tour will start at our own Bush Theatre, move on to Beaver Island's BIC Center and Whitehall's Howmet Playhouse, and then conclude with a week of performances to start the 2019-2020 Season.
Many alumni reflect on CMU Summer Theatre as one of their most valuable educational experiences.
