You're invited to the 2016 Central Michigan University - Music Theatre Preview!

You'll enjoy a helpful workshop on auditioning skills, visit with our terrific faculty and students, see our campus and theatre facilities, dine in a residence hall and polish off a perfect day by taking in our production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical - A Chorus Line!  This is a great chance to get a feel for the CMU Music Theatre experience (at no cost for registered guests), but space is limited so make your reservations soon!

Registration Deadline: Friday, November 4, 2016.  Limited capacity - reservations taken on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity reached, and then a wait list will be created. REGISTRATION FOR THE EVENT HAS CLOSED.

2:30 - Workshop: How to Audition - Participating students should bring sheet music - a 16 bar cutting of a prepared song.  Participation in the workshop is limited to 20 students. Others are welcome to observe. Accompanist provided.

4:00 - Q & A with Current Students

4:30 - Tour - Explore theatre facilities and a short campus tour

5:30 - Dinner - Fresh Foods Market in the Woldt Student Residence Hall (Complimentary for registered guests)

7:30 - Play - A Chorus Line (Complimentary for registered guests)

Reservations: We will send you a confirmation, confirming that we've received your reservation and informing you of any additional details. 

Come prepared! Participants should bring sheet music for the workshop (a 16 bar cutting of a prepared song), an umbrella if the forecast looks gloomy, and be sure to wear shoes you're comfortable walking in, if you plan to participate in the walking tour of campus.
