Are you ready to showcase your research to other scholars?

Central Michigan University will host the 7th annual Michigan Undergraduate and Graduate (MUG) Communication Conference on Friday February 21st, 2020 from 1pm-5pm. 

This conference will provide you with an opportunity to present your work in a welcoming environment, to meet others in the region with similar research interests, to receive feedback from scholars in the field, and to explore opportunities for graduate school.

Paper submissions must be received by Monday January 13, 2020.

Submission Requirements:

  • All graduate and undergraduate students from Michigan and surrounding regions are welcome to apply
  • All epistemological, theoretical, and methodological approaches are welcome
  • Papers can be theoretical, rhetorical, critical, or empirical in nature
  • Papers can (a) offer a review of literature ending in proposed hypotheses/research questions or (b) report an original research study
  • Coauthored papers are welcome (at least one author must be an undergraduate student or a graduate student)
  • Submissions (maximum 25 pages) should include a title page with author(s) name(s), affiliation, contact information, and paper title
