Each year CMU University Theatre presents one or two Theatre For Young Audiences (TFYA) productions. Teachers and students from around the state attend these weekday matinee performances for school groups. OUR TOWN

DESCRIPTION: This Pulitzer Prize-winning play, described by Edward Albee as “... a masterpiece... one of the toughest and saddest plays ever written,” captures the daily life of a small New Hampshire town, Grover’s Corners, from 1901-1913, exploring the meaning of life and what it means to be human. Our Town is an impassioned call to take notice of the beauty in small and everyday things.
WHO: Students in grades 7-12 only (school groups only - not open to the public)
WHERE: Bush Theatre, Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI
WHEN: Friday, March 27, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. (Please plan to arrive 30-40 minutes early.)
TALK-BACK: An optional 30-minute Talk-Back will take place after the production
COSTS: $3.00 per seat and one free ticket awarded for every 15 purchased
