Brian Mills is chief of staff for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. He is responsible for managing Authority staff and programs, including the creation and implementation of the mission, policies, directives and organizational structure. Mills previously worked in the Legislature for nearly 20 years, serving as policy director and managing policy advisors for various Michigan legislators. He earned a B.A. in Political Science, with a concentration in Public Administration and a Business Management minor from Central Michigan University.
Danielle M. Spehar is the Vice President of Transactions at Agree Realty Corporation, a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust, located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She leads the transactional and diligence efforts of the company. She is knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of transactional commercial real estate after eighteen years in private practice. In addition to being a practicing attorney, Danielle also has hands-on experience in property management. Prior to joining Agree Realty Corporation, Danielle was a Shareholder at Maddin Hauser Roth & Heller, P.C., where she was a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee, Recruiting Committee, and Co-Head of the Real Estate Practice Group focusing on commercial real estate transactions, corporate and business law. She also has extensive experience in commercial leasing and the acquisition, sale and development of shopping centers, commercial, industrial, and office buildings as well as the acquisition, financing and sale of multi-family housing developments, including HUD financing. Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and her Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University and Wayne State University, respectively, both summa cum laude. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Scott Steiner‘s primary practice focuses on guiding clients through the complex environmental regulatory scheme in order to acquire or sell property, implement a project or address environmental liability with the state or federal government. These projects include the remediation and closure of contaminated sites, redevelopment of "brownfield" sites, and the securing of permits involving natural resources such as wetlands, sand dunes, rivers and lakes and permits required for mining projects. Ann Kelly started with Lodgco Management in 2000, as the Corporate Controller and was promoted to CFO in 2010, and in 2016 was promoted to President. She works in collaboration with the Board of Directors to define and articulate the organization’s vision, including development strategies to ensure the long term financial viability of the company. She is also responsible for owner/investor relations as it relates to development, including new construction and acquisitions, structuring capital, and asset management. She holds a bachelor degree in accounting from Central Michigan University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Northwood University. Ann has always been involved in the community and in supporting issues involving women and children. She has been involved with the Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault for many years serving in many capacities including Board President and Treasurer.
Mike Sher has been selling residential Real Estate since 2001. He is an Associate Broker, a certified distressed property expert, a past Business Network President, continuing education trainer for the State of Michigan, and graduate from Western Michigan University. He has a team of two full time Buyer’s Agents and an office administrator. He consistently ranks as a top regional producer and has sold over 1,000 properties in his career. Currently Mike Sher is running his team out of the Max Broock Realtors Birmingham office, a Real Estate One company, where he coaches and trains his agents and offers education for other agents under the Brokerage. Mike Sher lives in Birmingham, MI with his wife Julie, three daughters, and his Goldendoodle BoBo.
