Real Estate represent the second largest industry in the country, constituting 12% of GDP the last 10 years (see Table).  Including Construction, nearly 17% of GDP is real estate related rivaling Manufacturing as the largest sector in the country.  A real estate Major or Minor in the college of business administration prepares students for long-term career success in real estate and related fields. 

Graduates choose a variety of career paths in the industry including specialty areas such as: Investment analysis, Financing, Market analysis and research, Consulting/advising, Brokerage and leasing, Development and redevelopment Valuation, Asset/portfolio analysis and management, Legal affairs, Regulation and management in government agencies and countless others.

The real estate curriculum provides fundamental knowledge of real estate as an investment class. Commercial Real Estate, or anywhere you live work or play other than a single family home, demand drivers stem from business including logistics, retail, services and virtually anything you can imagine. We teach you the critical business decision making skills to succeed in this opportunity filled space.
