CMU's Professional Sales Faculty Team is composed of exceptionally talented, award-winning faculty members. 

Dr. Concha Allen 



Professor Allen's research interests are in the areas of professional selling, sales management and interorganizational relationships. Dr. Allen's research has been published in the Journal of Internet Commerce, Journal of Marketing for Higher Education, Journal of Instructional Pedagogies, and has been presented at numerous national and international conferences including the American Marketing Association, Academy of Marketing Science, Society for Marketing Advances, American Collegiate Retailing Association, Cross-Cultural Research and the World Business Congress of the International Management Development Association. She teaches MKT 340: Personal Selling. 

Dr. Hayam Alnakhli

Assistant Professor  


Dr. Hayam Alnakhli serves as a sales faculty and coach in the sales program. Currently, she teaches MKT 440: Sales Management, which introduces sales students to the theory and strategy behind managing and leading a B2B sales force. Dr. Alnakhli has over 8 years of industry experience including B2B sales in the healthcare industry. Dr. Alnakhli’s research explores the impact of sales technology, salespeople’s inner capabilities, and sales leadership on salespeople's performance. She has published her work in the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing.

Dr. Rebecca Dingus 

Associate Professor  


Teaching in CMU's Professional Sales program since 2014, Dr. Dingus enjoys engaging with students, connecting them with corporate opportunities, and seeing them develop into business professionals. She teaches MKT 340: Personal Selling, coaches students competing in regional and national sales competitions, and coordinates CMU's annual Sales Challenge. She also is an active sales researcher, with publications in journals such as Business Horizons, Industrial Marketing Management, and Marketing Education Review

Dr. Jeffrey Hoyle

Senior Lecturer and Marketing Internship Director


Professor Hoyle has over 20 years of experience in B2B sales in the foodservice, healthcare, and forest products industries. Jeff currently teaches Organizational Selling, Marketing Strategies for Entrepreneurs and Marketing & Society as well as advising the American Marketing Assn CMU chapter. Jeff's experience in B2B sales includes such clients as General Motors, General Electric, PepsiCo, Alcoa, and TVA. Dr. Hoyle teaches MKT 340, MKT 420, and MKT 460 in the sales program.

Mr. Nick Hussein 

Instructor and Hospitality Internship Director


Spending over 30 years in the hospitality industry with 12 years in professional sales, Nick Hussein was a Director of Sales and Marketing for a Marriott property. He remains actively involved in the hospitality industry to include professional sales. Professor Hussein has a strong desire to provide a path for students to the corporate world. He has also facilitated breakouts at ORGPRO, a professional development conference for MSAE, and for the MI Chapter of SGMP. Within the sales program, he teaches MKT 340: Personal Selling and is passionate about helping the student body develop and prepare for the workforce.
