This workshop is for students with a major or minor offered by the College of Business Administration. It is not available for alumni. The following exceptions apply:

  • If you are graduating at the end of the fall semester, you are eligible to apply for registration for the December or January workshops (if scheduled) immediately following the semester. You are not eligible for a later workshop.
  • If you are graduating at the end of spring semester, then you are eligible for the May or June workshops (if scheduled) that follow that semester. You are not eligible for a later workshop.

Registration Procedures


Step 1 – Apply

Download the registration form, fill it out completely, and submit it electronically via e-mail. All necessary instructions are on the application form.
The application submission deadline for the May 2016 workshop sessions is February 3, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.

Special extended application period for the May 23-27 session: Applications due March 29, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.

Step 2 – Pay

You will be notified via e-mail by February 19, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. as to whether your application is approved. If approved, you must pay the $125 workshop fee to complete your registration. See the Frequently Asked Questions page for the refund policy.

Additional details will be included in the e-mail notification message.
The payment deadline is March 15, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.

NOTE: You must complete steps 1 and 2 to finalize your registration and secure your spot in a workshop session.

Please ensure that you have installed the latest version of Adobe Reader prior to downloading the application.

Mac users: Right-click (or Ctl + left click) the "Download Application" button, save the document to your hard drive, and then open it from there. If you fill it out in your browser, you will not be able to save your data. Do not fill out this form in the Preview app. Instead, download and use the free Adobe Reader app.

The application period for summer 2016 is closed. Please check back in fall 2016 for information on future workshop sessions.

Additional Preparation

A USB flash drive with workshop materials is supplied. You will be informed via e-mail near the end of fall semester when your flash drive is ready for pickup. You must also purchase the required textbook (approximately $100 at the CMU bookstore) at that time.
