Why

BRC students are first-year business students who live together with select sophomore business students in Trout Hall, in north campus. They take business classes together, focus on networking and leadership activities, participate in professional development events, and create lasting friendships.

BRC students connect with upper-class business student leaders each week during their first semester on campus and attend a dinner with business faculty event to gain practical knowledge and insights. In addition to activities such as wall-climbing and team-building, students develop a detailed degree map with their Business Advisor during their very first semester, which includes all of their required courses. Students also network with  business student leaders who serve as mentors.

BRC students are leaders and achievers who are successful in the classroom, in student organizations, and beyond. Students report that living in the BRC has positively impacted their academic performance and their adjustment to college overall.
