Advising


All MSA students must meet with their advisor, Denise Schafer, Academic Advisor. Advising appointments may be scheduled by calling the MSA secretary at (989) 774-6525. Ms. Schafer will advise students on their MSA administrative core course selection and advises in the majority of MSA degree concentrations. If appropriate, students will be directed to a second advisor for the student’s concentration. Students should arrange an advising appointment as soon as possible after admission to the program.

Integrating Experience

The MSA Program's Plan B requirement is met by MSA 699, Applied Research Project in Administration.  These course is designed to combine practical experience, integrate knowledge from the academic program, and demonstrate ability to design and execute a research project.
