Out-of-State Tuition Merit Award

Central Michigan University's Out-of-State Tuition Merit Award for graduate students grants in-state (Michigan resident) tuition rates for the entire academic program of any student admitted to an On-campus CMU graduate program (contingent upon the student remaining in good academic standing). In order to receive this valuable award, students must meet all three of the following criteria:


GRE Verbal score of at least 157 and GRE Quantitative score of at least 152

(old GRE version equivalents:  560 Verbal, 660 Quantitative)


GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) score of at least 600


MAT (Miller Analogy Test) score of at least 418

(old MAT version equivalent:  55)


Cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 on the U.S. 4.0 scale


TOEFL score of at least 100 (600 paper-based), if not from a TOEFL-exempt country
