The purpose of the Graduate Bulletin
is to provide information about CMU's academic programs and information
concerning admissions, academic regulations and requirements, and
service available to students. It is the expectation of the College of
Graduate Studies that graduate students are knowledgeable about the
policies and procedures that govern their education; and it is the
students responsibility to ensure they meet all the degree requirements
outlined in the edition of the Graduate Bulletin in effect at the time
the student is admitted, Students should observe all university
procedures, requirements, regulations and policies, and deadlines
currently in effect; and that all requirements for graduation have been
met. Graduate students should regularly discuss their plans of study
with academic advisors.
