Program Description

The general administration certificate program is designed to enhance your administrative skills in critical thinking, strategic planning and analysis. With the ability to select courses across multiple concentrations, the certificate is easily customizable to align with your career goals. No matter what career path you take, the general administration concentration will give you the tools to become the leader you aspire to be.

The Graduate Certificate is perfect for anyone in management or administration who wants to increase their skills sets and knowledge to advance in their profession. The MSA was developed to hone skills in leadership, management and organization for professional administrators in both the public and nonprofit sectors.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the MSA program requires:

  • a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution;
  • minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.7;
  • official transcripts from all undergraduate or graduate schools attended; and
  • statement of purpose

Graduation Requirements

A graduate certificate requires 15-18 credit hours dependent upon the concentration. Graduates must maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA in the course work.

Students may choose to complete a graduate certificate and then go on to complete the rest of the MSA program if they would like to obtain the full Master’s degree.  See program pages for graduation requirements.
