Program Description

The Graduate Certificate in Health Systems Leadership (HSL) is designed for professionals who already have a graduate degree and want the basics for managing a healthcare organization. This six course, 18 credit academic certificate concentrates in operations, compliance, health law, finance, economics. The courses are a subset of the required courses in the Masters in Health Administration. The program is an online program so students can participate from anywhere.



Admission Requirements

Admission to the International Health certificate program requires:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution;
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.7, or 3.0 in the final 60 semester hours of graded coursework towards the bachelor's degrees;
  • Official transcripts from any previous institution(s) sent to:
    • CMU Global Campus, Attn: Transcripts Dept. 802 Industrial Drive, Mt. Pleasant MI 48858

Graduation Requirements

Completion of the six required courses and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
