Andrew grew up in the Mount Pleasant area, where he was active in theater, debate and speech club. He attended CMU for three years before moving to Japan, where he lived for seven years and finished his degree at Temple University's Tokyo campus. He has taught reading and writing skills for Americans at Mid Michigan Community College and ESL at Michigan State University, and is in charge of the ELI's tutoring program. Andrew loves hiking, camping, reading, gaming and most of all traveling.​


Andrew often teaches Level 3 and Level 4 Listening and Speaking and Grammar courses.
