Maggie Mieske

Maggie has recently returned to the ELI after having spent four years teaching in Qatar in the Middle East. During that time she had the opportunity to travel to Egypt, Oman, the Emirates, Europe and South America.  Prior to living and working in the Middle East, she worked at Central Michigan University in the ELI as an adjunct lecturer and GA lecturer.

She currently lives in northern Michigan with her husband of almost 20 years, and enjoys her horses, milking her goats, making goat milk soap, gardening and reading in her spare time.  Most of all, she spends as much time as possible with her three grown children, two gorgeous granddaughters and one handsome grandson.

Maggie holds a BS in English (Creative Writing concentration and Spanish minor) from Central Michigan University, and a Master's degree in TESOL from CMU.
