CELEBRATE THE NATIONAL DAY
ON WRITING TUESDAY OCTOBER 20.
The CMU Writing Center and The Writing Circle invite all campus students and
staff to contribute to a continuous story or poem during our nine-hour writing
marathon (Park 400 Writing Center, 9 AM to 6 PM, write on our thought board
(Anspach 154 Writing Center, 9 AM to 5 PM), trace their bodies in chalk
somewhere on campus and fill it with prose or poetry (find chalk at AN 154!),
dress up as a literacy superhero or villain (Metaphor Man, Comma-Splice, Oxford
Comma, etc.), and Tweet #WhyIWrite.
