Spanish

The Spanish Program offers courses at all levels. It is supported by a state-of-the-art computer and digital lab, study abroad programs in Latin America and Spain, various student activities, and a dedicated faculty.

Why Study Spanish?

Spanish is a major language in Europe; it is also spoken throughout most of Latin America and has, in fact, become the second language of the United States. Whether you plan to live and work in the United States or abroad, knowledge of Spanish will be an increasingly important asset.

Combined with a major or a minor in another area of study, command of Spanish will provide opportunities not open to monolinguals with only a knowledge of English.
